The latest. I just literally cringed.
Hope Mikaelson
Damon and Elena's two kids (which doesn't make sense because they're not supernatural...)
Jeremey's kid.
Josie and Lizzie.
And - a relative of Cami's (which also doesn't make any sense unless we soon discover that Declan has a kid?!)
I don't know if I'll be watching this.
Declan being in Legacies makes sense, since he's been more of a father figure to Hope than Klaus, so why not include him instead?

Someone on Twitter said this cast looks like a bad fanfic. I'm still chuckling. God, I hope they're not giving the Delena kids a tragic backstory; I got the feeling from the finale that Damon and Elena died young. Maybe they become hunters like their uncle Jeremy? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I swear to God, if you search long and hard, you'll find fanfics with this premise.
The only reason I think Damon and Elena would send their kids to this school is because of Damon's enemies or the secret is out and the supernatutral community realizes there's a cure for vampireism running around out there. So to keep the kids safe, they send them to boarding school, where they'll be better protected. Hmm - so would the kids have the cure in them as well? I'm interested in how they'll explain Damon and Elena's absence.
Jeremey's kid being there actually makes sense. He's a Hunter and he's got to take off occasionally to fight vampires or he becomes broody. He has to fulfill his calling. And I can see him returning to teach, occasionally.
The twins and Hope; that makes sense.
But the O'Connell kid? Cami's relative? The only thing I can come up with right now is that there's a branch of Cami's family that knows all about the supernatural and they send the kid to the Salvatore school so she can learn about the community and be prepared to take over a Human Faction in NOLA or somewhere else.
You know, I really thought this was going to be Plec's attempt to establish a new audience, but she's baiting BOTH audiences by bringing in unnecessary kids from both shows.
Oh well. I won't be watching.

My wild theory a few weeks ago was that Declan would crossover to Legacies - looks less wild now. Why introduce a new character like him at all? He's been in two episodes -barely. No one particularly cares for him one way or the other. Then to make him Cami's cousin. Seems like unnecessary backstory.

In defence, Elena and Damon are members of a Founding Family (yeah, Damon having to hide, I guess no one wants the cure anymore), combined with the cure and that Elena's a doppelganger and Katherine's descendant (Traveller stuff) and the character is accredited for one episode but I wouldn't take the listings seriously. While IMDB might want to pretend they're grown up by purging their forums, they let their pro members edit pages with cast listings and there are a significant number of fanfiction editors in the fandom so let's just wait before we go pitchforks.
I've only seen one spinoff end up as bad as it was described (Stargate: Universe) and that was because all of the casting/plot summary had no fan edits the way Legacies, and leaked spoilers end up with and in particular, The Originals is suffering obvious budget cuts for this season along with a reduced episode count and relegated for seasons, whereas Stargate: Universe's predecessor Atlantis deteriorated rapidly post third season without any of the same issues without any of this social fanbase shows contend with in the present so let's wait and see. In fairness, I'd rather they have Elena and Damon name a kid after Jenna (whom they both liked) than some fandom inspired name or a virtue (I love Hope but the frelling puns have been killer).

So Plec posted on Twitter that the IMDb page has incorrect info, that someone was playing a joke. That half those names were incorrect.

Like said- it's some of the same stupidity we've seen Chinese Whisper spoilers and through the fandom goggles- very few spinoffs dumpster dive as low as Stargate: Universe did.
