For 1000 years Elijah had been trying for Klaus's redemption. I dont know why when he needs ti more than Klaus but anyway he had been on a mission whether because of his guilt or because he genuinely cares, what do you thinks this new mission of Elijah "dont go there, you might die. Hope needs her father alive" is coming to accomplish and how it will end? Will this be end of Elijah? Do you think Elijah might die because of this? He said to Klaus at the end of 403 "... if anything goes wrong, Hope needs her father alive" (I dont remember the exact dialogue so correct me if I misquoted). Was that a foreshadowing?
On that point will we ever see people letting Klaus himself decides what is best route to take and how can he become a better person for his daughter rather than Elijah and Cami OR even Hayley OR farfetched Caroline making sure that he is on right path? Is there a time in every kids life for the parent to step aside and let teh child learn from his/her own mistakes? Will Klaus ever grow up?

Meh. The writers are conveniently forgetting that not so long ago, Elijah's mission was to kill his brother.

Yeah how very convenient. I can actually see them saying Elijah was mislead to believe that Klaus killed his siblings so yeah he wanted to kill them, who wouldnt?

And that was all cleared up in TVD. It was revealed last season the reason why. When Abby Bennett put Mikael down in 1995 Klaus grew wary. Wanting to disappear he lied to Elijah and said he got rid of their siblings (put their daggered bodies in the ocean) in order to distance himself from anyone (idiot could have just daggered him and save himself the trouble).

I should have laid emphasis on "who wouldnt" part not the other explanation. I know the other one, i saw it. Would you kill your sibling whom you love and stood by for 1000 years if you hear a rumor/ confirmation he/ she killed other siblings? Daggered whom? Mikael?

In some ways Elijah relates to Klaus like Stefan to Damon. Maybe that is foreshadowing. On TVD the children get to grow up with their real dad and not a stepdad. Maybe that is foreshadowing, too.

But I can understand why Elijah would. He loved all of his family, not just Klaus. (At least back then he did, the writers changed that.) I mean it would have made more sense for Klaus to dagger Elijah for the time being - while he disappeared, instead of making up some lie and turning him into an enemy.
