The Originals- 4.09 Queen Death
A SURPRISING ALLIANCE AND A HEARTBREAKING SACRIFICE — When The Hollow sends a terrifying message to Vincent, he must team with Hayley and Freya to embark on a desperate mission to stop the Hollow once and for all - even if it requires a heartbreaking sacrifice. Refusing to allow anyone in his family to pay the high price of defeating their enemy, Klaus makes a surprising alliance and enacts a plan that threatens to change the Mikaelson family forever.
I really hope they start stepping up their use of Vincent because at the moment it feels like Davina is the more relevant character- this season Vincent has come off flat as compared to his role in Season Three.

Vincent has been really useful so far IMO. I wonder who will be sacrifice? Elijah obviously is not coz he was killed.
Both Vincent and Davina have played their roles. Vincent is still doing more leg work than Davina.
The alliance- could it be Hollow/ Sofya itself? I can think of her as unexpected Or it could be Alaric again OR Kol/Rebekah
Marcel- a sacrifice? Since he told Davina that there could be another option. Maybe he realizes that he could end it. He has real interest for NOLA not to mention Hope.
Isnt it time Rebekah and Kol come back? Elijah has been hurt so maybe Klaus invites them back for help- unexpected alliance. Maybe one of them dies once again. But Kol's death is not really going to change Mikaelson family, really! He has died many times now.

Surprising alliance, first to my mind is Davina or Mary. I would be surprised if one of them teamed up with Klaus. Heartbreaking sacrifice, for me would be one of the main cast but I doubt it. Thought of Keelin or Josh but they I think one or both of them will die in the finale. So I am guessing that witch Vincent was glancing at in the beginning, Maxine. Something like Aiden's "heartbreaking" death in season two.

Rebekah has an arc coming back and if she has then it should be at least 4 episodes long and that is how much of the season is left. Same goes for Kol. Keelin is not dying since Carina confirmed it. Josh neither coz he is the beloved character. I think it will be Klaus once again. But when they keep on bringing "Mikaelson family will never be same" I dont know what to think? they have never fulfilled this promise so dont trust them anymore.

You think Klaus will be hostage? or battery for some magic? or dead? (I don't believe dead) I am not sure. There is a death coming in 412 so I dont think any of our immortals will die right now to contain the Hollow. They wouldnt bring back Kol and Rebekah just to make one of them a sacrifice in the same episode, right? Elijah has already "died". Maybe they are talking about him? I read a theory somewhere that Klaus will send Hope away from him to keep her safe and that will be the sacrifice. From 408 we know that he does not want to but what if he does it in 409 to keep her safe. That could explain that letter him thanking Caroline for keeping Hope safe for a few days while they deal with the Hollow. Alaric is to make another trip which could be him bringing her back. Saying all this, I read the synopsis again, it mentions requires sacrifice does not necessary means that there will be a sacrifice. Maybe they plan it but it does not materializes. The plan however could be sending Hope, Hayley and Elijah away (like Elijah and Hayley have been planning since the season started) while he and the others take care of Hollow which again would threaten to change the Mikaelson family: for the first time ever his family will be walking around but not with him. Once again the word threatens is used which could mean that nothing will really change. Do you want to bet that Klaus will somehow try to trade positions with Elijah? Which will really anger me coz that means he does not care to be in his daughter's life or see her grow up. If Klaus does that then he does not deserve Hope and she does not deserve him.

I definitely don't want to bet, they make stupid decisions all the time.
Good point. They are probably just hyping up to generate excitement.

He has died many times now. Yeah I'm looking forward to see Becks and even Kol again in episode 10. The Originals - Episode 4.10 - Phantomesque - Press Release DANIEL GILLIES DIRECTS THE EPISODE — After the devastating events of the previous episode, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) requests that his estranged siblings Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) and Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) return home to stand by their family against The Hollow. Meanwhile, Freya (Riley Voelkel) recruits Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) for a dangerous journey that will put both their lives at risk — but may be the sole means of saving someone they love. Elsewhere, tensions rise when Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) leads a hunt for The Hollow — putting him on a collision course with the person he was least prepared to face. Finally, as Kol continues to mourn the loss of Davina, he is forced to consider the lengths he’d go to see her again.

Doees that mean that Elijah will not be cured in 409? Since 410 is red door/Dg episode so maybe that is how his disappearance from the screen will be explained? I heard something about Kol. If that turns out to be the correct info then I am going to be really annoyed even if it serves the purpose.

First of all MN called Elijah Hayley's brother LOL.
Now on serious matter. My predictions
1) Klaus will offer himself to be sacrificed to save Elijah and Hope but obviously something will not work right in his "noble" cause. 2) Elijah will come back in 410 after miraculously redeeming himself. Maybe facing actual death for the first time will make him face his evils and think about what he really wants aka a family with Hayley and Hope. 3) Freya will put Elijah in her necklace to keep him safe.
I am looking forward to JOMO acting all broken up coz it is going to break him up after the "loss" . I just hope he does not overact.
My reading into Vincent's reaction is that he is making best of what they got. He does not care about what happened to Elijah but if his death can be used to bind the Hollow he will jump to the chance. It is not like he willingly wanted to kill any immortal like Davina wanted. Maybe I am wrong but lets see what his reaction is really based on.
If Klaus offers himself for the cause then I am going to be so happy when he will lose HOPE for good: He does not deserve Hope. let Elijah and Hayley raise him. Not saying that he shouldnt do anything for his brother but he should think about having his daughter in his life not jump at every opportunity to sacrifice himself and miss that biggest opportunity of seeing his daughter grow up. She DOES need him.

Wow. Rest in pieces, Elijah.
Promo for next week had me rolling my eyes though. She didn't even bat an eyelash at Klaus offering himself as a sacrifice. Now she gets to be the one to bring Elijah back together. I'm so over Hayley.
I feel like they brought back the Hollow a bit early though. We now have 4 episodes left - what are they gonna do with her that isn't gonna turn stale after two episodes?
